ROHNERT PARK, Calif- Co-leading the Sonoma State baseball team in batting average this season with a .351 mark, Kyle Jones was selected to the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association (NCBWA) Division II West Region Team, it was announced Wednesday afternoon.

The six-foot junior outfielder picked up Honorable Mention honors after hitting 11 home runs and recording 45 RBIs. Jones started in 49 of Sonoma State's 52 games, leading the team with 65 hits and 41 runs scored. A three-year player for the Seawolves, the native of Thousand Oaks picked up All-CCAA Second Team honors for the second straight year.

Sonoma State finished seventh in the CCAA standings with a 17-23 record and 24-28 overall.
