Chad Chambers has been named the Wilson California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Chambers sparked the Seawolves to the 65-50 victory by scoring a career-high 22 points to go along with a season-high 11 rebounds in just 20 minutes of action. He connected on 7-of-9 shooting from the field and shot 8-of-10 from the free throw line.
For the season, Chambers is averaging 7.3 points per game and has a team-high 5.7 rebounds per game.
It is the first CCAA Player of the Week honor for Chambers and the first by a Sonoma player since Andrew Kochevar in December of 2007.
The Seawolves (2-5, 2-1 CCAA) return to the court on Tuesday evening when they head to Belmont to take on Notre Dame de Namur.
