ROHNERT PARK, Calif-  It's not too late to sign up for this year's Sonoma State Boy's and Girl's Basketball Camps.  The next session begins on July 12th at Sonoma State University.  In its twelfth year, the camp has been established as one of the top youth basketball events in the North Bay.

ROHNERT PARK, Calif- Two high school seniors have signed National Letters of Intent to continue their basketball careers for the men’s basketball program at Sonoma State University, associate head coach Rich Shayewitz announced Monday. Brian Crow and Cody Brice will join the Seawolves for the 2010-11 season.

ARCATA, Calif- Despite a fierce comeback attempt in the final minutes, including 13 points by sophomore Steven Pratt in the final 5:46, Sonoma State couldn't quite make up for a double-digit deficit late in the second half as the Seawolves fell to host Humboldt State, 72-68, in the opening round of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championship Tournament at Arcata on Tuesday night. Sonoma State, seeded seventh in the conference tournament, ends its season with a 11-17 record, after finishing in a three-way tie for sixth place in the CCAA standings at 10-12 last weekend.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif- One week after being named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player of the Week, Sonoma State University sophomore Steven Pratt has been named to the All-CCAA First Team. It was announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

HAYWARD, Calif-  For the second time this season, the Cal State East Bay Pioneers came back from a large second half deficit to force overtime on their way to a victory over Sonoma State.  On Friday night, the Pioneers overcame a 15-point second half deficit to beat the Seawolves 92-84.  Despite the loss, the Seawolves (11-16, 10-12 CCAA) will play in next week's CCAA Championship Tournament as the No. 7 seed.

LA JOLLA, Calif- Freshman Will Olsem scored 16 of his game-high 18 points in the first half, including five three-pointers, and sophomore Steven Pratt notched his first double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds helping Sonoma State sail to a 70-57 victory over host UC San Diego on Wednesday night at RIMAC Arena in La Jolla. The win propels the Seawolves into sole possession of seventh place in the CCAA standings with a 10-11 record in conference play and 11-15 overall. The Tritons fall to 8-16 (7-14 CCAA) and have been eliminated from the conference playoff race.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif-  Sonoma State sophomore Steven Pratt has been named the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men's Basketball Player of the Week for February 15th through 21st.  Pratt was instrumental in leading the Seawolves to a 2-0 week with wins over Northern California rivals Chico State and Cal State Stanislaus.
