SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Despite winning two of three doubles matches, the Sonoma State men's tennis team stumbled in singles play as 41st-ranked Holy Names came back for a 5-4 win in the fifth place game on Saturday morning at the Pacific West Conference Championships in Surprise, Arizona. The Seawolves conclude their 2015 season with a 5-15 overall record.

Matt Weeber to take a 2-1 lead heading into singles play.
Sonoma State added to their lead with a when Holbrook finished with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles, but HNU answered by taking points at No. 5 and No. 3 to draw even.
SSU got another fine performance from
Vincent Paganetti, who earned a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 6 to put the Seawolves one point away from a win. Unfortunately, the Hawks were able to capture the final two points with wins at No. 4 and No. 2.
