SSU soccer field

Seawolf Field is the on-campus home of the Sonoma State men's and women's soccer teams.  Over the years, the field has played host to many conference and NCAA tournament games featuring both prestigious Sonoma State soccer programs.  Nestled next to a grove of redwood trees, right in the middle of campus, Seawolf Field is an excellent venue for the campus community and the entire area to watch top notch NCAA soccer.

The Seawolves have received strong support from the community, ranking among the top ten in the nation in terms of Division II attendance.  In 2003, the year after the SSU men's soccer team captured the national title, they led the nation in attendance, averaging 515 fans per game.

The largest crowd in school history, 1,287 fans, was present on November 24, 2002 to support the Seawolves in their 3-0 NCAA quarterfinal win over Midwestern State.  The win sent SSU on to the National Final Four and set off a frenzied on-field celebration.
